Preston-on-Stour
Preston-on-Stour is a village and civil parish in Warwickshire, England[1] found some four kilometres south of Stratford-on-Avon. The population of the civil parish as at the 2011 census was 244.[2] As the village name suggests the River Stour flows along its eastern fringe and the A3400 runs about 1 kilometre east. The village was historically part of Gloucestershire until in changed counties in 1931.[3] The village church is dedicated to Saint Mary.[4] The village did have an Infant and Primary School but this closed in 1974.[5] The children's television show the Teletubbies was filmed about two kilometres south of the village.
