Pozzale
Pozzale is a frazione in Empoli commune, Province of Florence. It is the site of a prison that was converted into a prison for transgender drug and prostitution offenders.[1]
In the meantime, the building has become a common prison for women.
It used to be the seat of a literary award called Premio Pozzale (now set in Empoli).
