Post-canine megadontia

Post-canine megadontia is a great enlargement of the molars and premolars which is found in early hominid ancestors such as Paranthropus aethiopicus. It is considered to show a largely vegetarian diet,^[1] as the robust size would result from the eating of tough, hard shelled food such as seeds and nuts.
