The Whirlabout[1] (Polites vibex) is a butterfly in the Hesperiidae family. It is resident from southeastern U.S. to the West Indies and Argentina, migrating northward to Ohio and Connecticut. The wingspan is 26–30 mm.[2] It flies all year in the extreme south, and migrates north in late summer and fall.[2]
The larvae feed on Paspalum ciliatifolium and Poaceae sp.[1][2]
