Poland is scheduled to compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. This will be the nation's twenty-first appearance at the Games, having missed the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles because of the Soviet boycott.

Archery

One Polish archer qualified for the women's individual recurve by obtaining one of the eight Olympic places available from the 2015 World Archery Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark.[1][2]

Swimming

Taekwondo

Poland entered two athletes into the taekwondo competition at the Olympics. Piotr Paziński and 2015 European Games silver medalist Karol Robak secured spots in the men's lightweight (68 kg) and welterweight category (80 kg) respectively by virtue of their top two finish at the 2016 European Qualification Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.[15]

Weightlifting
