Plopana is a commune in Bacău County, Romania. It is composed of nine villages: Budeşti, Dorneni, Fundu Tutovei, Iţcani, Plopana, Rusenii Răzeşti, Rusenii de Sus, Străminoasa and Ţâgâra.
