Pio V. Corpuz is a fourth class municipality in the province of Masbate, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 23,292 people.[3]
Pio V. Corpuz was formerly known as Limbuhan. In 1951, the barrios of Limbuhan, Guindawahan, Palho, Casabangan, Salvacion, Alegria, Tanke, Bundukan, Bugtong, and Cabangrayan were separated from the town of Cataingan and created into the town of Limbuhan.[4] The town got its current name in 1954.[5]

Pio V. Corpuz is politically subdivided into 18 barangays.[2] Sitio Bugang was converted into a barrio in 1957.[6]
