Pimplinae are a worldwide subfamily of the parasitic wasp family Ichneumonidae.
Pimplinae are parasitoids of Endopterygota, often the pupae of Lepidoptera. Species of Tromatobia parasitize the egg sacs and adults of spiders, There are 95 genera.
