Pielgrzymowo [pjɛlɡʐɨˈmɔvɔ] (German: Pilgramsdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Płoskinia, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Płoskinia, 15 km (9 mi) south-east of Braniewo, and 65 km (40 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia). After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
