Physalaemus ephippifer is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, intermittent freshwater marshes, pastureland, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest.
