Phoenix Knights are an Amateur Athletic Union-sanctioned Tier II junior ice hockey team based out of Gilbert, Arizona. The Knights are a part of the Western States Hockey League and play in the Western Division. Their home games are played at AZ Ice Gilbert in Gilbert, Arizona. The franchise, originally the Phoenix Polar Bears, joined the WSHL in 1999.[1] The team was then sold to Arizona Hockey Clubs, Inc. in 2011, and renamed the Phoenix Knights.

Chris Walker[2] is the current head coach and general manager of the Knights. Prior to being named head coach and GM of the Knights in April 2015, Walker spent two seasons as an assistant coach. Walker is joined by assistant coach and assistant GM Bob Platt[3] and assistant coach Curtis Kelner.[4]

The Knights play in the Western Division of the WSHL.[5]
