Phil Abrams (born December 28, 1959 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor. He has guest starred in number of notable television namely The Big Bang Theory, Good Luck Charlie - (recurring), Everybody Loves Raymond, The X-Files, Roswell, Friends, The Practice, NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, NYPD Blue, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Eli Stone, Grey's Anatomy - (recurring), iCarly - (recurring), The Office and other series.

Abrams has also appeared in the films The Island (2005), Nancy Drew (2007) and Saving Sarah Cain (2007).

He currently has a recurring role as Phil Lessing on the NBC drama Parenthood. In 2014, he appeared on Criminal Minds as Dr. Weinstein.

Abrams is also an acting teacher at The Director's Perspective, an acting studio located in Santa Monica, California.[1] Abrams portrayed Ira Goldman in the drama film White Frog and Mel in the horror film Insidious: Chapter 3.[2]
