Pharsatikar is a village development committee in Rupandehi District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5739 people living in 897 individual households. Before some years, people here used to be mostly Tharus but due to ,the huge agricultural possibility and a very good environment that it serves to the people staying here, its population has found to be increased with mostly Paharis migrating here from the neighbouring districts and also some people are found to be shifting their home from India [1]
