Pharaquta (Aymara phara dry,[2] quta lake,[3] "dry lake", hispanicized spelling Paracota) is a lake in Peru located in the Tacna Region, Tarata Province, Susapaya District.[4] It is situated at a height of about 4,522 metres (14,836 ft). Pharaquta lies south of the larger lake Wilaquta.
