Petrove Raion (Ukrainian: Петрівський район) is a raion (district) of Kirovohrad Oblast in central Ukraine. Population: 24,965 (2013 est.)[1]. It covers an area of 1195 square kilometres. The capital lies at Petrove (Pop. 8512). The raion was established on March 7, 1923.[2]
