Peter Hore (professor)
Peter John Hore is a British chemist and academic. He is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Oxford and fellow of Corpus Christi college.[1] He is the author of two Oxford Chemistry primers (OCP 32 and 92) on Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)[2] and a large number of research articles[3] primarily in the area of NMR, Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), and Spin chemistry.
Hore was an undergraduate and a graduate student at St John's College, Oxford (1973–1980), a Royal Society Research Fellow at the University of Groningen (1980–1982), and a Junior Research Fellow at St John's (1982–1983) before becoming a Fellow and Tutor at Corpus Christi.
He is married to Julia Yeomans.
