Peter Dahl

Peter Dahl, born 16 February 1934 in Oslo, Norway, is a Norwegian-born Swedish painter and printmaker.

Dahl came to Sweden as a child in February 1939, when his parents settled in the Stockholm district of Bromma. Dahl became a Swedish citizen in 1954.

He was educated at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1958-1963 under Lennart Rodhe and has been head teacher at Valand School of Fine Arts in Gothenburg 1971-73 and professor at the Royal University College of Fine Arts in Stockholm 1975-79. He also taught at Gerlesborgsskolan from 1959 to 1969.
