Peter Coonan (born 1984) is an Irish actor.[1] He is best known for his role as Fran in RTÉ One series Love/Hate.[2][3] He was awarded Best Supporting Actor TV for his role as Fran at the 11th Irish Film & Television Awards. In 2011 Coonan played Dave Fennel in the Irish crime film Between the Canals, written and directed by Mark O'Connor.[4]
Personal
In 2013 Coonan was handed a four-year driving ban after he ran into a motorcyclist pushing him forward and causing him to lose control of the bike.[5][6] Coonan’s girlfriend Kim O'Driscoll gave birth to a baby girl in the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin in May 2014.[7]
