Pentti Olavi Hämäläinen (19 December 1929 in Kotka – 11 December 1984 in Kotka) was a Finnish bantamweight professional boxer, who won gold in Boxing at the 1952 Summer Olympics in his home city of Helsinki. Four years later in Melbourne he captured the bronze medal in the featherweight division (– 57 kg).
Amateur career
Hämäläinen competed on the European team vs. the Chicago Golden Gloves team on 29.03.1951 where he met Joe Castanaeda.
