The Pentax Q7 is a rangefinder-styled digital mirrorless intechangeable lens camera announced by Pentax on June 12, 2013. The camera includes a slightly larger sensor than its predecessors, the Q and Q10. Larger sensors are expected to lead to improved image quality.^[1] Prior to the Q7's release, it had already been speculated that the Q system's imaging circle would accommodate up to a 1/1.6 inch sensor, but would not support a 1-inch sensor without dropping in-body image stabilisation as a feature.^[2]
