Peddler's Village
Peddler's Village is a 42-acre development in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, featuring 65 retail shops and merchants, 3 restaurants, a 71 room hotel and a Family Entertainment Center. It has festivals, craft competitions and a 1922-era carousel. The destination is also used for weddings, holiday parties, reunions, retirement parties, picnics, and corporate meetings. Special events and seasonal festivals draw nearly two million visitors to Peddler's Village each year.
The Village is located in Lahaska, Pennsylvania near Doylestown and New Hope in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Yearly events include an art and contemporary crafts fair, sidewalk sale, scarecrow competition, apple festival, gingerbread house competition, Christmas festival and quilt competition. The Peddler's Village Strawberry Festival has been held on the first weekend in May since 1969.[1] More than 1 million lights illuminate the Village beginning the Friday before Thanksgiving through New Year's Day.
