Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi

Pearl-Continental Hotels & Resorts also abbreviated as PC, is a hotel chain in Pakistan. It has properties in Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Gwadar, Bhurban, and Muzaffarabad with new hotels coming up in Mirpur, and Multan.

The Pearl-Continental Hotel in Karachi was the first five-star Intercontinental Hotel in Pakistan, and has hosted Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, King Hussain, other world leaders and royalty. It was a member of the Leading Hotels of the World for over a decade.

The hotels are owned and operated by Hashoo Group, which also owns Marriott hotels in Karachi and Islamabad, and Hotel One, a chain of budget-hotels in Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Murree and Bahawalpur.

In 2009 the Peshawar hotel was bombed by Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.
