Peace Point Entertainment Group is a Canadian Toronto-based independent television production company.[1]
Corporate Profile
Peace Point principals Les Tomlin and Vallery Hyduk have produced 19 series (over 250 hours of programming) with worldwide distribution. It has also acquired full ownership of U.S. content development and production company DIDtv, relaunching it as Peace Point Entertainment USA as part of the deal.[2]
Peace Point owns a 15% equity in the specialty channel OUTtv and 45% of HARDtv. In 2004, Peace Point was one of the companies that acquired PrideVision (now OUTtv) the world’s first television network targeting the gay and lesbian community from Headline Media Group. In 2005, the group launched HARD on PrideVision (now HARDtv). Les Tomlin sits on the corporate board and executive and programming committees with responsibility for the strategic direction of OUTtv.
In December 2012, Shavick Entertainment purchased Pink Triangle Press's 24.94% interest and Peace Point Entertainment Group's 15% interest in OUTtv.[3] They also purchased Peace Point's interest in HARDtv.
