Pavitrra Punia(born 22 AUgust 1986) is a young model and actor. Pavitrra played the lead role in the Star Plus serial Love u Zindagi in 2011 and later in the same year the role of Simi in Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto. She played the role of Simi. She then started portraying the character of Anushka in Honge Judaa Naa Hum until it ended a few months later.

Personal life

Punia was born in Baghpath in Uttar Pradesh, and schooled at Abhinav Public School in Rohini, New Delhi. She models and has appeared on the reality show MTV Splitsvilla.[1]

Career

Pavitra became famous as a reality show contestant of Splits Villa 3, an Indian television reality show that is a kind hunt for love show in the locales of Phuket. The tagline of the show is "World War 3 of Love". She was queen for episodes 5, 6, 10, and one of the three finalists.

Her biggest break was the lead role in the show Love U Zindagi on STAR Plus. Love u Zindagi is a Bi-weekely Indian television drama-series that airs on STAR Plus. The series premiered on 29 January 2011 and airs every Saturday - Sunday at 7pm. It tells the story of a young, bold and lively girl Geet. The show is loosely based on a film, the Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starrer, Jab We Met. It has a Punjabi backdrop.

She later appeared on the serial Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto portraying the character of Simi. At the moment she is enacting the role of anushka in Honge Judaa Naa Hum. The serial is loosely based on 50 First Dates and The Notebook.
