Paula Chaves (born 6 September 1984) is an Argentine model, actress and TV host.
Biography
Paula Chaves was born in Capital Federal, Argentina. She started her career at the age of three doing an advertisement for Kodak and at the age of six for Nenes cookies, but it was when she won the reality show Super M in 2003, it began to be known.[1] After Super M, her career was steadily increasing, participating in several shows in Argentina.
While she worked as a model for Multitalent Agency, Chaves studied theater and dance and in 2009 made her debut as an actress in the television show Nini broadcast by Telefe. Note that her character would appear in only two episodes, but she liked so much that she shot ten episodes.[2]
In 2010, she competed in the sixth season of Bailando por un Sueño, where she was the runner-up, losing to Fabio "La Mole" Moli.[3] In 2011, replaced Pamela Anderson and she came back to Bailando 2011, where she was semifinalist and in July she starred in Ricky Martin's video "Frío".[4][5] In 2012 she is back in the ninth season of Bailando por un Sueño, but now she´s dancing with her boyfriend Pedro Alfonso, with whom she is also doing CONCUBINOS. She is acting in a play called Despedida de Solteros with Alfonso, Nazarena Velez, Jey Mammon, Gustavo Conci, Barbara Velez, Eugenia Lemos and Tito Speranza.
In February 2013 Paula Chaves announced that she and her fiance, Pedro Alfonso, were expecting their first child.

Chaves participated again in the seventh season of Bailando por un Sueño with professional dancer Pablo Juin. She entered into the competition as the replacement of Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood, and her first performance was in the fourth duel, being saved. She made it to the semifinals and lost against personal trainer and security guard Héctor "Tito" Speranza and professional dancer Nadia Hair, by the 41.06%
