Paul Nassif
Paul Sabin Nassif[1] is a Lebanese American plastic surgeon and television personality.[2] He specializes in facial plastic surgery—specifically rhinoplasty.[3] Nassif is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Nassif has also appeared in numerous media outlets to discuss cosmetic surgery; his work, including his revision rhinoplasty procedures and his "Anti-Gravity Facelift" have been featured on Entertainment Tonight, Good Morning America, People, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, and The Wall Street Journal.[4][5]
Nassif is best known for co-hosting the E!'s reality series Botched with Dr. Terry Dubrow. The plastic surgery-themed show premiered on June 24, 2014 and has aired two seasons. He has also appeared on E!'s Dr. 90210,[6] and the first three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, on which his ex-wife Adrienne Maloof was a main cast member.[7]
In October 2015, the eight-episode spin-off series of Botched was announced entitled Botched by Nature. The show is expected to premiere in 2016, starring both Dubrow and Nassif.[8]
Education
Nassif attended the University of Southern California and graduated in 1984. He attended University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in his first two years of medical education, and was transferred to University of Southern California School of Medicine in the latter two years of medical education where he graduated in 1992. He interned in general surgery residency at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, and continued his training in Otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at University of New Mexico from 1993 to 1997. He subsequently completed a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1998.[9]
Personal life
On May 2, 2002, Nassif married Adrienne Maloof, co-owner of various business holdings of Maloof companies.[10] The couple has three sons.[11] They resided in Beverly Hills, California. Nassif filed for separation from Adrienne on July 30, 2012. The divorce documents, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation.[12] Their divorce was settled on November 8, 2012.[13][14]
