The talukas are hilly areas.Situated 30 km south from Akola.Surrounded by Hills and wonderful atmosphere.Muslim , Hindu and other lived together . They celebrate all the festivals together. The Urs of Shah Babu (R.A) celebrated at very large scale. Adivasi and Banjara tribes are found. The development of backward area is not satisfactory. Unemployed people are migrating towards Mumbai or Pune in search of employment. Patur is histroricall City.
