Patty Kim (born July 29, 1973) is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 103rd district. She is a member of the Democratic Party.[1]
Personal life and education
Kim graduated from Langley High School in 1991 and Boston College in 1995.[2] Kim's father immigrated from Korea after enduring the Korean War.[3]
Career
Prior to her career in elected office, Kim was a television reporter.[3] Kim served on the Harrisburg City Council. She was elected to the Pennsylvania House in 2013. Kim serves on the Consumer Affairs, Human Services, Local Government, and Urban Affairs committees.[2] Kim is the first Asian-American to serve in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.[3]
