Patrik Laine (born 19 April 1998) is a Finnish ice hockey player. He is currently playing with Tappara in the Finnish Liiga. Laine is rated as a top prospect who is expected to be a top 5 pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.[1]

Playing career

Laine made his Liiga debut playing with Tappara during the 2014–15 season.[2]

Laine played for Finland at the 2016 World Junior Championships, where they won gold on January 5, 2016. Due to his impressive play throughout the tournament with linemates Jesse Puljujärvi and Sebastian Aho, Laine was named to the tournament All-star team.
