Patricia Quintana
Patricia Quintana is a Mexican cook, writer, businessperson and professor. She is a recognized international cook and an expert in Mexican gastronomy.
Biography
Patricia Quintana is a specialist in Mexican regional kitchen, formed and traveled to the foreigner where trained in Canada, Switzerland and France, with recognised cooks for afterwards return to Mexico. She was proprietary in the City of Mexico of the restaurant Izote from 2001 to the 2013, to begin a new project, a company of personalized service of banquets.[1][2]
Creator of the mark of aderezos "Gavilla"; mark under which today commercialises some 16 products. She directs the menus that serve on board of the Mexican airline of Aviation.[3]
Collaborated in diverse programs of television and has written articles of kitchen for several newspapers and magazines of the country and of the foreigner.
She is also the mother of Patricio Pasquel.[4]
Prizes and honours
She is culinary ambassador of her country for the world, distinction that awarded her the Office of Tourism and the Association of Restaurants of Mexico.[5]
She received the Prize Spoon of Silver awarded by the magazine "Food Arts"; the Prize of the Laurel of Gold by part of the Association Mexico Spain, and the Prize to Employer Restaurantero of the Year, delivered by the CANIRAC in Mexico.
