List of members of Boston City Council

Map of districts, Boston, Massachusetts. On October 4, 2002, the City of Boston completed the redistricting process for City Council electoral districts with the passage of an ordinance by the City Council and Mayor Menino's signing the ordinance. The districts became effective beginning with the 2003 City Council election.[1]

This is a list of former Boston City Council members, serving the people of Boston, Massachusetts.[2]

Current city council members

The current City Council sits until the next election, scheduled for 2013, with those elected taking office in January 2014. All 13 councillors (4 at large, 9 district) are up for re-election every 2 years. Preliminary election takes place in September, final in November.
