Park View is a mixed community secondary school, located next to Downhills Park in the West Green area of the London Borough of Haringey, England.[1]
It was formerly known as The Langham School, however this school officially closed in 1999 due to poor academic achievement among pupils. The school reopened as Park View the next day, with the same pupils and many of the same staff. Results have improved at the school since this time.
The catchment area of Park View encompasses one of the most ethnically and culturally mixed areas of London, and many pupils at the school speak English as a second language. The school itself claims to be arguably the most diverse secondary school in the world.[2]
