Pareto is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Turin and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 643 and an area of 41.0 square kilometres (15.8 sq mi).[1]
Pareto borders the following municipalities: Cartosio, Giusvalla, Malvicino, Mioglia, Ponzone, Sassello, and Spigno Monferrato.
