Paralichthodinae is a subfamily of flatfish in the Pleuronectidae family. It consists of just one genus with a single species, Paralichthodes algoensis, which is restricted to coastal water of southern Africa.

In some classifications, Paralichthodinae is raised to the level of a family.[1][2]
