DB Schenker Rail Polska (formerly PCC Rail) is a Polish rail company operating mainly in freight transport, owned by Deutsche Bahn. Main products transported by this company are coal, gas, oil products and sand.
The transport volume in 2008 amounted to over 90 million tons.
History
PCC Rail Szczakowa emerged from a local mining-transport company of the Sand Mine Szczakowa (Kopalnia Piasku Szczakowa), operating for over 50 years. Lately it was bought by German PCC SE company. On 16 November 2006 the company's name was shortened to PCC Rail.
