P. V. Srinijan

P. V. Srinijan is an Indian politician with the Indian National Congress party. He is also the son-in-law of former Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan. He got an opportunity to contest as a MLA candidate from Njarekkel assembly constituency but lost by a narrow margin. there after he was elected as Vice president of the state youth congress. In 2010 there was an alegation regarding his tax liablity and facing investigation for owning property. The alegation garnered media attention given his proximity to the former Chief Justice. Following the allegations, he has resigned from the party.[1] He has been the subject of facing investigation for owning property disproportionate to his means. In 2006, Srinijan had contested unsuccessfully from the SC reserved constituency of Njarackal in Ernakulam.
