Outline of Aruba
The following outline is provided as an overview of and introduction to Aruba:
Aruba – Caribbean island nation that is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.[1] Aruba comprises the Island of Aruba, an island of the Lesser Antilles archipelago, 33 kilometres (21 mi) in length in the southern Caribbean Sea, 27 kilometres (17 mi) north of the Paraguaná Peninsula, Falcón State, Venezuela. A country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Aruba has no administrative subdivisions. Unlike much of the Caribbean region, Aruba has a dry climate and an arid, cactus-strewn landscape. This climate has helped tourism as visitors to the island can reliably expect warm sunny weather. It has a land area of 193 km2 (75 sq mi) and lies outside the hurricane belt.
