Optimove develops and markets customer retention software, which leverages customer modeling, predictive micro-segmentation and campaign optimization technologies[1] to help marketers at Internet businesses maximize customer lifetime value by converting more leads, increasing customer spend/engagement, reducing churn and winning back more lost customers.[2]

The Optimove Software

Optimove is a SaaS application that implements a systematic approach to planning, executing, measuring and optimizing a complete, highly-personalized customer marketing plan. Marketers and retention experts use Optimove to maximize the lifetime value of every customer by understanding each customer's needs and preferences, and then delivering communications and incentives that the customer consistently feels delivers value. In other words, the software allows marketers to consistently achieve the best match between every campaign and every customer.[3]

Optimove enhances the marketing and retention efforts of online businesses by carefully modeling each customer and predicting which marketing campaigns will be perfect for the individual.[4]

The software is based on a combination of technologies, including predictive customer modeling, realtime hyper-targeting based on dynamic customer micro-segmentation, multi-channel campaign automation, real-time campaign triggers,[5] and systematic campaign optimization using scientific control methodologies. On top of this technology layer, the application provides a calendar-based marketing management tool to help users track and optimize campaigns.[6] Every campaign becomes a measurable marketing experiment[7] which feeds the software's self-learning recommendation engine.

"Optimove's software uses micro-segmentation technology to help businesses identify which action or marketing campaign will have the largest conversion impact on a user at a particular point in time."[4]

The marketing channels supported by Optimove include email, SMS, mobile push notification, lobby banner and Facebook Custom Audiences.[8]

The Optimove product doesn't collect or use any customer-identifying demographic data, which eases privacy concerns.[9]
