Olivier Guyon is a French-American physicist. He is an associate professor at The University of Arizona's College of Optical Sciences.[1] Guyon was awarded a MacArthur Fellowship in 2012.[2]
Guyon designs telescopes and other astronomical instrumentation that aid in the search for Earth-like planets outside the solar system.[3] Specifically, coronagraphs and extreme adaptive optics.
