Olesno [ɔˈlɛsnɔ] is a village in Dąbrowa County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Olesno. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Dąbrowa Tarnowska and 74 km (46 mi) east of the regional capital Kraków.[1]
The village has a population of 1,708.
