The fixture between Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung is a significant sporting rivalry in football, with both sets of supporters considering the other club as their main rival.
The rivalry comes about as Jakarta and Bandung are the two largest cities in Indonesia, and the two clubs are the most successful and influential football clubs in the country.

As of August 2014, there have been 36 competitive meetings between the teams. Persija have won 10 and Persib 11, the remaining 15 games finishing as draws.
The biggest victories have been to Persib who have won 3–0 in Siliwangi Stadium on 24 April 2007.[1] which remains the biggest victory between the two sides overall, this result has been omitted as the official league was suspended but the derby still continued. Both teams have won 3–0 once.

Bobotoh
Bobotoh is a term for supporters of Persib not supporters fans club organitation. The name is derived from the Sundanese, which means those who encourage or build excitement for others. In bobotoh there are some groups of supporters such as Viking Persib Club and The Bomber (Bobotoh Maung Bandung Bersatu) and other types such as Bobotoh Oriental, Ultras Persib, Fowers City Casuals. Although Persib has an acronym of Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bandung (Indonesian Football Association Bandung), supporters are not only from the city of Bandung. Bobotoh scattered across West Java, from Bogor, Tasikmalaya, Garut, Subang, Bekasi, Karawang, Purwakarta, Depok, Cianjur, Sukabumi, Cirebon, Kuningan, Majalengka, Indramayu, Pangandaran, Ciamis, Banjar, and also in other region in Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Tangerang, Banten, Bali, East Java, Central Java, Lombok, Sumatra, etc.
Viking Persib Club
Viking is the largest supportes group of Persib. Viking is also part of bobotoh founded in 1993.
The Jakmania
The Jakmania is Persija supporter club were established in December 1997. The Jakmania members are spread in all of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and, Bekasi (Jabodetabek).
