Okinawa SV (沖縄SV Okinawa Ess Fow), also abbreviated as OSV, are an Association football club from the Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. They currently play in Japan's Okinawa League Division 3. Their home town is set on Uruma City, Okinawa.
The team derive their name from Okinawa Prefecture and Sport-Verein, a Deutsch word for Sport Club. Inspired by the name of Hamburger SV, former club of Naohiro Takahara. The club established by former Japanese National Team player Naohiro Takahara and legendary Japanese judoka Tadahiro Nomura.[1]
The team is aiming to become a professional club and eventually join J. League in the future.[1] Currently they registered to play in Okinawa League Division 3 for 2016.
