Oświno [ɔɕˈfinɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Chociwel, within Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Chociwel, 33 km (21 mi) north-east of Stargard Szczeciński, and 55 km (34 mi) east of the regional capital Szczecin, at the Woświn lake.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany and the name of the village was Marienhagen. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
