Novaković

Novaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Новаковић) is a Serbo-Croatian surname, a patronymic derived from the male given name Novak (meaning "the new one"). It is rendered as Novakovič in Slovenian, and historically Anglicized as Novakovich. It may refer to:

During the Second World War, over 1,600 predominantly Serbs with the surname Novaković were killed in the Jasenovac concentration camp by the Fascist Axis Ustashe.[1]
