Norway's Next Top Model (also known as Top Model Norge) is a Norwegian reality television show airing on TV3.
Spin-off to Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model, Top Model Norge began as part of the threefold competition Scandinavia's Next Top Model, which featured contestants from Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Norway emerged victorious in the first two cycles of the show with Kine Lauvås Bakke and Frøydis Marie Elvenes winning the first and second cycles respectively. The winner of the third and final cycle of Scandinavia's Next Top Model was Freja Kjellberg Borchies of Sweden, with Therese Haugsnes being the winner of the Norwegian division of the show and runner-up of the overall contest.
After the three countries parted ways, the first individual (and fourth overall) cycle of Top Model Norge aired in 2006. The competition was eventually won by Maria Eilertsen from Stavanger. Cycle 5, which premiered in September 2007, was won by Kamilla Alnes from Ålesund. Cycle 6 premiered in September 2008, with the winner being Martine Lervik, also from Ålesund.
For cycle 7, the age limit was lowered to 14.[1] However, none of the selected fifteen finalists were under 16. Cycle 7 premiered in February 2011 with Claudia Alette Bull from Stavanger winning the competition. Cycle 8 premiered in September 2013 and was won by Frida Børli Solaker from Valnesfjord.
