History

Nord Anglia Education's schools are located in North America, Middle East, Asia and Europe. The organisation was founded in 1972 and its schools are currently home to over 19,000 students between the ages of 2 and 18 years. Schools of Nord Anglia Education follow the English National Curriculum which is adapted to fit the needs and culture of different regions. They also offer the International Baccalaureate, IGCSEs and in some places, A Levels, the French Baccalaureate and the Swiss Matura.

Curriculum

The school offers the International Primary Curriculum and National Curriculum.[7]

Teachers support and enable students to thrive through the High Performance Learning approach,[8] which is a proven methodology for enabling children to perform highly, regardless of their perceived academic ability.[9] High Performance Learning is a research based model that empowers children not just to absorb knowledge and facts, but to understand how to apply that knowledge, how to challenge it, and how to form their own opinions through independent critical analysis.

Notable figures

The school works in partnership with local artists, known as 'Artists in Residence',[10] some of whom work from the campus and act as role models for the students.

The school offers numerous opportunities to participate in activities designed to be fun, challenging, inspiring and motivating. Parents are actively involved in the school community, with class parents holding many events and social gatherings over the course of the year.
