Noordhollands Dagblad is a Dutch newspaper covering North Holland in the northwest of the country. It appears in eight regional editions, and employs some 150 journalists.[3]
The paper has come about through the merging of a number of regional newspapers:
- Schager Courant, Schagen[4]
- Nieuwe Noord Hollandse Courant[4]
- Alkmaarsche Courant, Alkmaar[5]
- Dagblad Kennemerland, Kennemerland[5]
- Dagblad voor West-Friesland, from West Friesland[5]
- Dagblad Zaanstreek, Zaanstad[5] (itself the result of a merger between De Typhoon and De Zaanlander)
- Enkhuizer Courant, Enkhuizen[5]
- Heldersche Courant, Den Helder[5]
