Noi credevamo (We Believed) is a 2010 Italian drama film directed by Mario Martone, based on a screenplay by the same director and by Giancarlo De Cataldo inspired by actual historical events that occurred and by the writing of the late Anna Banti. The film was nominated for the Golden Lion at the 67th Venice International Film Festival.[1] and was released on 12 November 2010.[2][3]
