Nivedita Bhattacharya is an Indian actress. She was born in Lucknow,.[1]
Career
She started in theatre early at Bengali drama festivals during Durga Puja celebrations. Nivedita soon moved to Hindi amateur and professional theatre and did several plays with Surya Mohan Kulshreshtha (director BNA), Dr. Anil Rastogi and Urmil Kumar Thapaliyal.
She has performed at international theatre festivals in Norway and Finland (Bhagwadaajjukeeyam) which won many awards. She was the only Indian actress invited by the FIASKO theatre group to perform the Finnish version of the same play.
She did approximately 500 shows of All The Best in Hindi with Feroz Abbas Khan which traveled to Singapore, Dubai and London (UK) and across India.
Pandit Satyadev Dubey gave her an opportunity to learn from him. She performed with Naseeruddin Shah.
Family
Bhattacharya is married to Kay Kay Menon. She has been actively supporting educating girls in India.
