Nicolaus Adriani

Nicolaus Adriani (born in the Netherlands on September 15, 1865, died in Tana Toraja on 1 May 1926) was a Christian missionary from the Netherlands who did work in Indonesia. He was sent by the Nederlandsch Bijbelgenootschap.[1] He worked as a linguist in Poso, Central Sulawesi.[1]

In 1897 Adriani became correspondent of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, in 1918 he joined as member.[2]
